Reminder: Doylestown Christmas Tree Lighting, Parade, And Story Time Tonight

Don't forget to bring the kids to story time after the tree lighting!

Patch is sending a friendly reminder to all Doylestown are residents to get to downtown Doylestown for the 102nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Doylestown tonight at 5:30 p.m.

And don't forget to bring your kids to Class-Harlan Real Estate at 151 W. State St., Doylestown for Holiday Story Time with Doylestown Borough Mayor Ron Strouse and others for holiday stories with local families after the Santa Claus lights the tree in the center of town. Refreshments will be served. Story time will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year, the parade will begin at Central Bucks High School West and head up West State Street, ending at Pine Street.

Santa Claus will be in the parade this year and when he arrived at the Fountain House at Main and State streets, he will light the Christmas tree for the first time.

Before Santa arrives, Gilbert & Sullivan Ensemble and the CB West Choir will perform holiday tunes for the crowds.

Guests will also be treated to holiday cookies and cider, which will be available in front of Siren Records, 25 E. State St., before the tree lighting.
