New Rita's Store In Doylestown Doubles Drive-Thru Windows

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, a favorite in Doylestown for 25 years, will celebrate the opening of its new, more modern location on Wednesday, July 20 in the Cross Keys Place Shopping Center (behind Perkins) at 4331 Swamp Road, Doylestown.

Earlier this year, the current franchise owners, the Savage family, relocated the store from its original location at 4403 W. Swamp Road, where it has spent the last quarter of a century, to its new location just down the road.

With the new location, the Savage family is looking to build on its business success since taking over the franchise in 2020, and create an even better customer experience by offering a more attractive environment and by meeting the needs of the on-the-go customer.

The new end-cap location boasts a state-of-the-art drive-thru more than doubling the number of service windows it had at its original location. With this upgrade, the Savage family expects the new Rita’s to deliver for the community for many more years to come.

The Savages will officially welcome its new location with a grand opening celebration from 12-3 p.m. As part of the opening, they will be donating $500 to a local community food bank.
