Roads In Warwick, Doylestown Twp. Scheduled For Milling, Paving

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Two roads in the Doylestown-Warwick area are scheduled to be milled and re-paved this week, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Under a PennDOT contract, milling and paving operations are scheduled on:

  • Rushland Road between Zachary Lane and Walton Road in Warwick Township. Work will take place from Monday, April 6 to Thursday, April 9. Flagging will be in place from p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Almshouse Road between Pennsbury Drive/Valley Road and Birdie Lane/Par Drive in Warwick and Doylestown Townships. Work will take place from Monday, April 6, through Monday, April 13. Flagging will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
