Rotary Club of Doylestown Makes a Donation to The Fiaria Project
Assisting Foster Families Through Transitions

The Rotary Club of Doylestown recently made a $1,500 donation to The Fiaria Project, a nonprofit organization that assists foster families through transitions. The Fiaria Project was founded by Joseph Simek and Alexis Ridge-Simek of Bucks County to support foster families and children during placements and transitions so they have the essential items they need.
“Rotary Club of Doylestown works to implement the ideals of Rotary through enhancing quality of life and human dignity,” said President, Amy Parenti. “The Fiaria Project does that by helping foster parents and children. It is our pleasure to award this organization a grant to help them continue their mission.”
About The Fiaria Project
Founded in 2016, the Fiaria Project is a non-profit organization based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with the mission of supporting foster families during placements and transitions so they have the essential items they need to provide safe and loving homes to foster children. This is done through the creation of “transition kits,” which consist of clothing, toiletries and other age-based items. The kits are distributed for free to local foster agencies and related organizations, which then identify foster families that need them during or after child placement.
