Roxy Therapy Dogs Welcomes Medical Librarian To Its Board

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Jen de Richemond has been elected to the board at Roxy Therapy Dogs, a nonprofit that brings the support and comfort of therapy dogs to thousands of children each week in the greater Doylestown area.

Jen, a medical librarian, enjoys contributing to healthcare research and has worked with research teams on many projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Agency for Health Care Quality and Research, which are agencies of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as other government agencies and organizations.

Jen belongs to the Academy of Health Information Professionals, Medical Library Association, and has written a book, "Medical Library Association Guide to Heart Disease."

Prior to her board position, Jen was a Roxy volunteer with her therapy dogs, Panda and Bella, helping students at Kutz Elementary School improve their reading skills.

Roxy Therapy Dogs is an all-volunteer, non-profit, donation-dependent organization with 70 teams and six programs that bring the support and comfort of therapy dogs to children in the Central Bucks School District, healthcare facilities, the courthouse, and trauma situations.
