Schuberth, Shaw Named to MAC Honor Roll

Two Delaware Valley College football players earned recognition for Saturday's performance.

Delaware Valley College junior tailback Kyle Schuberth (Darby, PA/Monsignor Bonner) and senior defensive end Dwayne Shaw (Philadelphia, PA/West Catholic) were each named to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Honor Roll for their performances in the Aggies’ 38-0 shutout over King’s College on October 13.

Schuberth scored three of the team’s five touchdowns and it upped his career total to 24, tying him for fourth place on the school’s all-time list. He finished the contest with 86 yards on 21 carries and he has 102 rushes for 502 yards and nine touchdowns on the year.

Shaw helped the team post a shutout on the road for the first time in six years as he notched six tackles, two sacks and two pass breakups. For the season, he has 34 tackles (10 for losses) and 4.5 sacks.

Delaware Valley has won four consecutive games and is now 4-2 overall and 4-1 in the MAC. The Aggies will host first-year program Misericordia University on Saturday, October 20.
