SCORE to Offer 4 Free Biz-Related Webinars in June

In a continued effort to keep the local business community informed, SCORE Bucks County will offer four free webinars in June.

On June 7, SCORE will offer “Successful Strategies for Women (Part 1): Envisioning Your Business Beyond Today,” which had been rescheduled from May.

Led by Nicole McCabe, the alliance director of Microsoft Partnership at Snowflake, this webinar is the first of a two-part series focused on women in leadership. The goal is to focus on moving beyond the “why” a business was started and plan for the successful business growth into the future. This will include resources, how to identify and overcome obstacles, and how female entrepreneurs can create the discipline to create and execute on the plan.

The webinar will share insight on:

• Business planning for the future
• Identifying blind spots in the current business plan
• Understanding strengths and weaknesses as a leader and the impact on the business

“What you Should Know About Business Liability Insurance” will be held on June 14. Led by Tom Kueny, a partner at KMRD Partners in Warrington, the webinar will provide a high-level overview of the liability coverages that business owners will need in order to protect their business.

Kueny will offer insight on:

• General liability
• Professional liability
• Employment practices liability
• Cyber liability

On June 21, SCORE certified mentor Alan Sipe will present “Basic Product and Service Sales Skills.” The session will provide attendees with basic sales knowledge and skills to successfully present their products and services.

Sipe, who has more than 50 years of successful sales, marketing and executive experience in business to business marketplaces, will discuss:

• How to handle questions and objections
• Pre-planning for meeting potential customers
• How to ask for the sale

On June 28, McCabe will present the second part of her webinar series, “Successful Strategies for Women (Part 2): Strengths-Based Leadership.” The goal of the session is to focus on how women can increase confidence and overall happiness by embracing their strengths and leveraging them for the success of their business.

In this session, McCabe will discuss:

· How to define a strength

· The link between strengths, confidence and happiness

· Leveraging strengths to become a more impactful leader

· Integrating strengths into your business
