Siblings Michelle and Steven Pellegrino joined forces, dovetailing her Girl Scout Silver Project and his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project, to benefit A Woman’s Place and those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence.

Michelle led a team of volunteers who sewed almost 200 bags which can be used to carry books and other items to permanent housing; they also made 32 book ends and collected over 1000 books for shelters in Bucks County and the surrounding areas. Steven and his volunteers built eight bookcases which were installed at three area shelters. Both projects were funded by the Piazza Neva Lodge of the Sons of Italy.

Michelle is Patrol Leader of Senior Troop2665, Oakville Service Unit and was selected as an emcee at Philadelphia’s Girl Scouts of Eastern PA Take the Lead Awards 2016, which honored five outstanding businesswomen. She also plays the piano, is an altar server at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, volunteers with Our Lady’s Rosary Makers, and interns at BCPAC’s Children’s Musical Theatre. A rising sophomore at Pennsbury High School, she participates in Chorus, The Pennsbury Voice, Bowling Team and the UNICEF Club.
