Death Investigation Behind Peace Valley Park Closure: County

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Peace Valley Park in New Britain Township has reopened to the public following a death investigation Friday morning at the nature center.

The Bucks County Rangers and the Bucks County Coroner's Office responded to the scene after a deceased individual was discovered inside a car in a parking lot near the nature center, which has been closed for renovations.

The Bucks County Haz-Mat team also responded, as did local fire and EMS.

During the investigation, the Chapman Road park access and parking lot were closed, but are now open as are the nature center trails, a county official said.
