Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued in parts of Bucks County and will remain in effect until 7 p.m. Forecasters with the National Weather Service say they have located a "severe" storm over Perkasie. The storm has wind speeds up to 60 mph.

"Expect damage to tree and power lines," the National Weather Service warns.

Communities that should expect impacts include: Lansdale, Doylestown, Chalfont and Richboro.

The NWS recommends moving to an indoor location on the first floor. Frequent cloud to ground lighting is occurring.
