Snow Emergency Declared In Doylestown Borough

Any vehicles left parked on Snow Emergency Routes are subjected to being ticketed and towed if the owners cannot be located.

A snow emergency has been declared in Doylestown Borough starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 21.

"Parking will not be permitted on designated Snow Emergency Routes, and these roads are also restricted to vehicles with four wheel drive or snow chains," Doylestown Borough officials announced.

Any vehicles left parked on Snow Emergency Routes are subjected to being ticketed and towed if the owners cannot be located.

The following streets within the Borough are designated as snow emergency routes: Broad Street (West side) between State Street and Main Street -East Ashland Street (South side) between Main Street and State Street -East Court Street (North side) between Main Street and (truncated).

On the non-snow emergency routes, residents are asked to voluntarily remove cars from the streets when possible to facilitate more effective road and parking lane clearing.

Doylestown officials say crews will be working around the clock to keep the roads open.
