Snow Possible Overnight, Winter Weather Advisory Issued

Up to three inches of snow could impact the Friday morning rush hour, the National Weather Service says.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service have just announced a Winter Weather Advisory is in place overnight, with as much as three inches of snow possible by Friday morning.

The Winter Weather Advisory begins Friday at 1 a.m. in Bucks, Chester Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia counties. The advisory, issued at 3:27 p.m. on Thursday, goes through Friday at 10 a.m.

“Snow will impact the Friday morning rush hour and could cause slick spots, mainly on secondary roadways as well as on sidewalks,” the NWS.

Snow accumulation of one to three inches is possible, with the highest amounts falling on unpaved surfaces, the NWS said.

Precipitation will begin as rain. As temperatures fall overnight, the rain will change to snow. Temperatures will go down to the mid 30s overnight.
