Today, more teens will be seriously injured or killed as a result of distracted driving than drunk driving. With 50% of serious teen crashes caused by distracted driving, this program contains interactive role play scenarios to teach students intervention techniques as well as reflect on their own driving behaviors. Feldman’s presentation is endorsed by the Governor’s Highway Safety Association which has highlighted it as one of the most effective driving programs for teens.

Feldman, whose 21-year-old daughter was hit and killed by a distracted driver in Ocean City, New Jersey, has presented more than 500 times coast to coast. He has been a guest on NBC’s Today show and CBS news as well as quoted as a subject matter expert in Huffington Post, Consumer Reports, Washington Post, and countless other publications. Since his daughter Casey’s death, Feldman has worked with pediatricians, researchers and traffic safety professionals from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and across the country to develop science-based distracted driving presentations for students.

Gina F. Rubel, founder of Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., said, “I have known Joel Feldman for nearly three decades and remember the day his beautiful daughter, Casey, was killed. Many parents become angry and resentful. Instead, Joel and his family turned their grief into advocacy and founded End Distracted Driving. It is our honor and privilege to serve as a Community Partner for this tremendously important program.”
