St. Patrick's DUI Checkpoint Leads To 10 Arrests In Warrington
A dozen Bucks County law enforcement agencies and state police held a checkpoint March 16 and 17 on Easton Road.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Ten drivers were taken off the roads over the weekend during a St. Patrick's Day weekend checkpoint in Warrington.
A dozen Bucks County law enforcement agencies and state police held a checkpoint March 16 and 17 in the northbound and southbound lanes of Easton Road in Warrington, leading to several arrest, police said.
The checkpoint, which ran from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m., resulted in 15 individuals tested and 10 DUI arrests, police reported.

Police officers trained in standardized field sobriety tests and checkpoint training participated in the checkpoint. Departments sending officers included Bensalem, Middletown Township, Newtown Township, Penndel Borough, Dublin Borough, Warrington, Richland Township, and Hilltown Township along with state troopers.
"We would like to thank all participating agencies, Lt. Glen Gottenberg of Warrington Township and Sgt. Dan Errigo of Bensalem Township who lead the DUI task force and make these details possible," said Warrington Police Chief Daniel Friel.
The checkpoint was funded by a grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
