A&T Chevrolet-Subaru Donates $500 to Ruck for Bucks Event
Ruck for Bucks is a 24-Hour Endurance Event with Proceeds Benefitting Local Non-profit Vet for Vets
A&T Chevrolet-Subaru is proud to announce a donation of $500.00 to the Ruck for Bucks event, organized by the Perkasie Rotary Club. This contribution supports the incredible endurance challenge led by local hero Steven Dale, aiming to complete an 80-mile, 24-hour ruck (a hike while wearing a heavy backpack, aka “ruck”) May 17-18, 2024, to raise funds for local non-profit, Vets for Vets. A&T Chevrolet-Subaru’s donation underscores their commitment to the community and to those who have served our country with honor.
Ruck for Bucks, a community event that uses the challenging exercise of rucking to raise funds, directly benefits local veterans and their families by providing essential support and resources. Over the past events, Ruck for Bucks has raised over $30,000, aiding various community causes including the local fire department and Vets for Vets. Vets for Vets supports local veterans and their families by providing needed assistance through kind works, eliminating barriers for veterans and their families so they can live a healthy, independent and productive life.
The Ruck for Bucks event not only showcases Steven Dale's extraordinary commitment to this cause but also brings the community together. Members of the community are invited to witness this feat and contribute by attending the Ruck After Party on May 18, 2024, at Sellersville MOOSE Grove. The day will be packed with activities for all ages, a BBQ competition, games, and live music by Mike Guldin and Rollin’ & Tumblin’.
