Target To Open Store At The Doylestown Shopping Center

Located at 456 North Main Street, the store will be approximately 73,000 square feet.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — After months of rumors and speculation, there's an answer to the question, "What's happening at the Doylestown Shopping Center?"

Target has announced that it will be opening a 73,000 square foot store inside the North Main Street shopping center joining ACME, Staples, Rite Aid, Penn Community Bank, Famous Footwear, Starbucks, Wendy's, Turning Point, and other businesses.

"We’re excited to bring an easy, safe and convenient shopping experience to new guests in the Doylestown community with this new Target store," said a Target spokesperson.

"Located at 456 North Main Street, the store will be approximately 73,000 square feet. As we get closer to opening the store, we’ll have more specific details to share – including how the
shopping experience will be tailored to serve local guests and the grand opening date."

The center has been without a second major anchor since the Bon-Ton Department store closed its doors in 2018.

In recent months, stores at the western end of the shopping center next to Bon-Ton have been closing, including the Mercantile in January, Michelle's Hallmark Store and Essentials Salon & Day Spa, leading to speculation that bigger plans were in the works for that end of the center.
