Teen Arrested For Attempted Burglary In New Britain Borough

Police said the juvenile kicked the front door of an occupied home several times at 5:30 a.m. and then left the property.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — A 13-year-old Doylestown boy faces multiple charges for the Sept. 29 attempted forced entry into a North Tamenend Avenue home in New Britain Borough.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department arrested the teenager on October 14 for burglary, property crimes, prowling, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

According to police, the juvenile kicked the front door of an occupied home several times at 5:30 a.m. and then left the property. It was later determined that the teen had caused $1,692 in damage to the front door jamb.

Police have filed a juvenile allegation, a written document that initiates delinquency proceedings and alleges that a juvenile has committed a delinquent act.
