Confrontation Over Drinking Leads To Charges Against Warrington Teen

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA - A teenager faces charges following a domestic disturbance on Ted Jim Drive on Oct. 6.

According to police, when a family member confronted the 18-year-old about his underage drinking, the teen grabbed them by the neck leaving marks.

The teen was arrested and taken to the station where he was charged with simple assault, harassment and underage drinking.

He was arraigned before Judge Gaier who set bail at $100,000 or 10 percent, which the teen was unable to post. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

In other reports, police arrested a 36-year-old Oreland man for stealing 11 cans of baby formula valued at $395.89 from the Target store in September.

An investigation by police revealed that the man had rapidly selected the items and placed them in a shopping cart. He then exited the store without paying.

When comforted by loss prevention, police said the man abandoned the cart and fled the area.

He is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen merchandise.
