Thefts From Vehicles Prompts Alert From Central Bucks Regional Police
Police urging residents and visitors to make sure their car doors are locked and valuables taken inside.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department is investigating several thefts from vehicles that have taken place over the last few days in its jurisdiction.
According to police, the thefts occurred with vehicles whose doors were left unlocked overnight and the owners discovering the criminal activity in the morning.
"Although the Central Bucks Regional Police are very active with patrolling the streets, protecting our residents, businesses, and visitors, we need your help," the police department said in a posting on CrimeWatch.

According to police, most vehicle break-ins are crimes of opportunity and often occur when
valuables, like purses or cell phones, are left inside cars. They recommend always locking the car and taking all valuables inside.
Anyone who sees something that is suspicious is asked to call police at 215-328-8511 (non-emergencies) or by dialing 9-1-1 in an emergency.
