They Could Have Danced All Night In Doylestown For The Uninsured
The event benefited the Ann Silverman Health Clinic, which provides free healthcare services to uninsured and low-income residents.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The 3rd Annual Dancing for Buck$ fundraiser took a spin across the dance floor earlier this week, raising more than $300,000 for the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, which provides direct healthcare access to 600 uninsured and vulnerable neighbors.
Held at the Warrington Country Club, the sold-out event brought together business leaders, philanthropic families, faith communities, corporate sponsors, civic officials, and volunteers in a unified effort to strengthen local healthcare access.
The special evening was highlighted by a dance competition, which paired community leaders with dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Doylestown in a memorable "Dancing With the Stars" moment.

The funds raised at the gala evening will support comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, vision, and prescription services for uninsured adults and children throughout Bucks County. At approximately $500 per patient, the evening’s proceeds translate into a measurable, direct impact for individuals who otherwise face significant barriers to care.
“These are not symbolic dollars,” said Meri Luarasi Gaumond, executive director of the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic. “They represent earlier diagnoses, relief from chronic dental pain, stabilized mental health, restored vision, and medications that prevent unnecessary hospitalizations. The true beneficiaries of this evening are the patients whose access to care is now secure."

Founded more than three decades ago, the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic provides free healthcare services to uninsured and low-income residents across Bucks County and remains a philanthropy-driven non- profit.
Three years ago, clinic leadership and the Board made a strategic decision to create a scalable gala model designed to ensure long-term sustainability. Today, Dancing for Buck$ stands as the region’s largest nonprofit gala fundraiser and a critical funding engine for the clinic’s future.
The evening featured community leaders paired with professional instructors from Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Doylestown, whose partnership has helped elevate the event into a signature philanthropic platform for the region.
Sponsors included Good Stuff Thrift, The Gorsky Family, Penn Medicine, Penn Community Bank, Geoffrey S.M. Hedrick Charitable Trust, Fred Astaire Doylestown Studio, Johnson Kendall Johnson, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe R.C.C., Bucks County Commissioners, BLBB Charitable, Galiani Ophthalmology, McManus Partnership, and numerous philanthropic families and community supporters.

While awards were presented during the evening, organizers emphasized that the true winners are the patients who will now receive essential healthcare services.
The 4th Annual Dancing for Buck$ is scheduled for March 12, 2027.
