Thieves Steal Jeep, Catalytic Converter: Central Bucks Regional Police

During December, thefts dominated the crime and incident report in Doylestown, New Britain and Chalfont boroughs.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following crimes and incidents during December:

December 5

  • Theft of Bicycle, 194 W. Ashland Avenue (Station Taphouse), Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) stole a charcoal gray Shimano mountain bike valued at approximately $400 from the outside rear entrance to the establishment.

  • Theft from Vehicle, 700 E. Butler Avenue (Delaware Valley University), New Britain Borough. Unknown person(s) stole $2,000 worth of items from a parked, unlocked vehicle.

December 10

  • Thefts from Vehicles, 311 W. State Street (Living Hope Church), Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) entered several parked vehicles. The ignition was ripped out of one vehicle, other vehicles had items tossed about and one pair of air pods were taken.

  • Theft, 350 S. Main Street (Lindsay Knight Associates), Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) stole a Christmas potted plant from a rear entry.

December 13

  • Theft, Taylor Avenue, Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) stole a USPS-delivered package from the front door of a residence.

December 16

  • Theft, Pennsylvania Avenue, Chalfont Borough. Unknown person(s) stole two-wheel shrouds from a vehicle parked at a residence overnight.

December 18

  • Criminal Mischief to Auto, Union Street, Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) slashed two passenger-side tires of a vehicle parked in a resident’s driveway overnight.

December 24

  • Motor Vehicle Theft, W. Hamilton Street, Chalfont Borough. Unknown person(s) stole a 2021 white Jeep Track Hawk during the overnight hours from the victim’s driveway.

December 26

  • Retail Theft, 132 Veteran’s Lane (Wine & Spirits store), Doylestown Borough. An unknown person stole a liquor bottle from the store.

December 28

  • Theft, S. Clinton Street, Doylestown Borough. An unknown person(s) stole a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle overnight.
