Thompson Arts Series Brings Class Act Band To The Stage In Doylestown
The concert takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. on August 16 and will feature a wide range of music spanning many decades and genres.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 16. The Class Act Band returns to the C&N Amphitheater (Central Park, Doylestown) as part of the Thompson Performing Arts Series.
“This is always one of our favorite gigs of the year, so come on out and join us for the 2023 D-town Dance Party,” encourages the band, a high-energy wedding and party band made up of local teachers.
The show takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. and will feature a wide range of music spanning many decades and genres.

“Bring the family, bring your friends, and most importantly, bring your dancing shoes,” says the band.
The concert is free and open to the public. It is presented by the Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation Department.

The performing arts series continues River of Dreams celebrating the music of Billy Joel on August 23; the Big Chill Band with classic rock on August 30; and Boat House Row, the Yacht Rock
Experience, on August 31 (rescheduled from June 7).
Food and beer will be available on the concert grounds throughout the series.
This year's food truck lineup includes Sally Vets and Jack & Jill (all dates), Roll M Up (August 30), Thai Jai Dee (August 16), and Jay's Joint (August 23).
The Beer Garden also will be open beginning at 6 p.m. Patrons must be 21 years or older to purchase beer and they must remain in the amphitheater with their beverages. Warwick Brewing will be on-site August 23. Crooked Eye Brewing will be on-site August 16 and 30.
DART shuttle transportation will be available during the concert series. Visit www.doylestownrec.org to view the DART pickup schedule and times, along with the most up-t0-date concert series information. No outside alcohol will be permitted in the park. Central Park is a smoke-free facility.

The free series of summertime concerts is presented by C&N, Thompson, Wegmans, PECO, Pennoni, Saint Rocco's Treats, Gerhard's Appliances, Penn Color, and Doylestown DART.
