Thompson will keep the panels up for the month of October in honor of survivors and those battling the disease and in remembrance of lost loved ones.
To raise awareness, Thompson has also bathed its entire site in pink lights for the month of October.
“They had three or four guys up in a bucket truck for an entire day changing 330 lights across their entire lot,” said Keith Fenimore, the driving force behind Pine2Pink.
“Our fabulous detail team is hard at work turning our dealerships pink!” wrote Thompson on its Facebook page. “Why are we ‘pink-ifying’ Thompson? Because we are a proud presenting sponsor of Pine2Pink and for the last few years, we've ‘pinked’ out our dealerships to bring awareness to their cause.”
Additionally, all month long Thompson will donate $20 to breast cancer research for every alignment at any Thompson’s Service Centers in Doylestown and Willow Grove.
