Thousands To Gather In Bucks County For Faith And Music Festival

DOYLESTOWN, PA – AbbeyFest, Greater Philadelphia's premier Catholic faith and music festival, returns on Saturday, September 19, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown.

Celebrating its 12th year, AbbeyFest continues its mission of bringing people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through inspiring music, prayer, fellowship, and the sacraments. The day-long festival welcomes families, parish groups, young adults, and individuals seeking to celebrate their Catholic faith through worship, community, and music.

Festival attendees will enjoy nationally acclaimed Christian artists, engaging speakers, Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Catholic ministries and vendors, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and an outdoor Vigil Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez. The day will include a candlelight Eucharistic Procession, Adoration, and Benediction.

"AbbeyFest exists to create moments where people can encounter Christ in a meaningful and lasting way," said Deacon Hank Fila, Advancement Director for AbbeyFest. "Whether someone comes for the music, the community, or the opportunity to pray, our hope is that every person leaves with a renewed sense of God's love and a deeper desire to live their faith."

Since its founding in 2014, AbbeyFest has grown into one of the largest annual Catholic festivals in the region. This year's lineup features Danny Gokey, the three-time Grammy Award-nominated and Dove Award-winning recording artist, as well as American Idol finalist (3rd place). He is joined by acclaimed performers Seph Schlueter, Lost and Found, along with artists like Sarah Kroger, Brother Isaiah, Gio Morales, the 2026 Mark Christmyer Emerging Artist. Joe Melendrez and Hannah Schaefer will perform, as well as serve as emcees, leading worship and engaging festivalgoers throughout the day.

AbbeyFest will also honor the memory of Jesna George, one of its longtime volunteers, with a special performance by The Jesus Youth Philly Band, celebrating her lasting impact on the AbbeyFest community.

Festival gates open at 12 p.m., with programming continuing throughout the afternoon and evening. Free parking is available, and financial assistance is offered to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend.
