Tickets On Sale For Central Bucks School District Musicals

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Three musicals - "Oklahoma," "Mamma Mia" and "Anything Goes" - will take the stage this spring in the Central Bucks School District.

At Central Bucks East, the Patriot Players present the Rogers and Hammerstein musical, "Oklahoma!"

Written right here in Central Bucks County, the musical tells the story of farm girl Laurey Williams and her courtship by two rival suitors, cowboy Curly McLain and the sinister and frightening farmhand Jud Fry. It features such audience favorites as "Oh, What A Beautiful Morning" and the title song, "Oklahoma!"

The show is on stage Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 2 at 2 p.m. at the high school located at 2804 Holicong Road, Doylestown.

At Central Bucks South, the Titan Thespians present "Mamma Mia!," an international smash musical based on the music of ABBA. The musical tells the story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father using hit songs by the popular 1970s group.

The show is on stage on Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 1 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at the high school located at 1100 Folly Road, Warrington.

And at Central Bucks West, the Harlequin Club presents, "Anything Goes" with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The musical takes place aboard the S.S. American as it sails from New York to England and features the hit songs, "Anything Goes," "I Get a Kick out of You," "Friendship," "Blow Gabriel Blow" and "It's De-Lovely."

The show is on stage Thursday, March 30, Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, April 2 at 2 p.m. at the high school located at 375 West Court Street, Doylestown.
