Today Show's Al Roker Coming To Doylestown To Promote New Book

The cookbook is co-authored by Roker and his daughter, Courtney, and features generations-long family favorite recipes.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Co-anchor of NBC's Today and Emmy-award-winning journalist Al Roker is coming to Doylestown on Saturday, October 19 at 7 p.m. to promote his latest book, "Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By: Easy, Memory-Making Family Dishes for Every Occasion."

During an "Evening with Al Roker and Courtney Roker Laga," the father and daughter co-authors will share a conversation about the book with Mike Sielski, an author and sports columnist with The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The event takes place in the Life Sciences Auditorium at Delaware Valley University. Tickets cost $42 and include one copy of the book. Tickets may be purchased by clicking here.

Al Roker, a New York Times bestselling author, lives in New York with his family. Courtney Roker Laga is a recipe developer and trained chef who has worked in two Michelin-starred restaurants. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and young daughter.

Sielski is the author of four books, including "The Rise: Kobe Bryant and the Pursuit of Immortality" and the upcoming "Magic in the Air," which will be published in February.

A sports columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Inquirer.com since 2013, he was formerly a reporter at The Wall Street Journal. His work has been anthologized in The Best American Sports Writing and The Year’s Best Sports Writing, and over his career he has been honored by the Associated Press Sports Editors, the Jenkins Medal for excellence in sportswriting, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the National Association of Black Journalists. He lives in Doylestown with his wife and two sons.
