Town & Country Players Present A Christmas Story
The stage adaptation of Humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the Midwest in the 1940's

Every holiday season families gather around their televisions to watch Ralphie Parker in his quest to acquire the “official Red Ryder carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time” and to hear everyone around him warn, “You’ll shoot your eye out kid.”
This year families can enjoy this tradition from the Parker family living room as Town & Country Players converts the barn theater into the Parker family home and the well-known school yard where Flick succumbs to the triple dog dare and sticks his tongue on the frozen flagpole. Like so many, Director Annamarie Hughes loves this show because of the nostalgia it invokes of fond childhood memories of the holiday season. She is happy to bring this show to life with a talented cast including Andy McPhee as Adult Ralph/Narrator, Kevin Palardy (Shakespeare Abridged) as The Old Man, Alyssa Moore, returning to T&C after a seven year hiatus, as the mother and introducing Will Trymbiski, a Lenape Middle School 7th grader, as Ralphie Parker.
A Christmas Story, the family play is playing at Town and Country Players located on Route 263 in Buckingham and runs weekends from November 8th – 23rd. Curtain time is 8pm for Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening shows and 2pm for Saturday and Sunday Matinees. For specific show dates/times and to order tickets, visit www.townandcountryplayers.org or call the Box Office at 1-800-838-3006. Tickets are $20.
