Town and Country Players Present One Acts Festival June 28-30
The Festival Consists of Five Original One Act Plays Selected from a Nationwide Applicant Pool

This year Town & Country Players received 160 submissions from playwrights all over the country hoping to have their original one act play included in the season’s One Act Festival. The festival, part of the theater's Signature Series supporting new work, includes five one act plays: Emma Abridged by Kayla Hambek of Minnesota, See Rock City by Kelli Lynn Woodend of Florida, Appomattox Remix by Shawn Samuelson Henry of Michigan, Standing Tall by Nancy Frick of Philadelphia and Wish My Ego Well by John McDonnell of Bucks County. Each of the One Acts will be directed by first time directors who will then become eligible to direct a full-length show in future seasons. Vice President of Productions, Rob Rosiello, expressed pride in Town & Country’s Signature Series that connects new plays and new directors to audiences who get to experience new works.
The One Acts are playing at Town and Country Players located on Route 263 in Buckingham June 28th– 30th. Friday and Saturday night shows are at 8pm and the Sunday matinee is at 2pm. There will be a talkback with the directors and some of the playwrights after the Saturday night performance. For more information and a description of each of the One Acts visit www.townandcountryplayers.org. Tickets are $15.
