Trader Joe's Coming to Plumsteadville?
Rumors swirl with many grocers moving in and out of Bucks County locations; would Trader Joe's consider Plumsteadville Village?

Trader Joe's considering a Plumsteadville Village location? That's the question on the lips of many Plumsteadville and Pipersville area residents.
Headlines and rumors mix together as many grocers and retailers move in and out of Bucks County locations:
- Redner's announced they will close their Doylestown location in late March...
- Whole Foods is rumored to be eyeing the Redner's location
- Aldi is moving into the former Gander Mountain location
- The former Rite-Aid location next to Giant remains empty following Rite-Aid's move to Plumsteadville Village southside
- Amazon is aggressively pushing its Prime Now same-day delivery from Whole Foods stores, and has brought that service to the Philadelphia area
There are many signs that Plumsteadville Village is poised for growth, and is ready for its close-up:

The Plumsteadville Village business and resident community were sorry to lose Carroll's Seafood (5840 Easton Road) last year, and recently Petro Bros. Auto (5824 Easton Road). But the two neighboring properties make for an excellent opportunity for growth. In addition, the wooded area north of Veteran's Park and south of 5821 Easton Road remains for sale, and is large enough to support a store of Trader Joe's size.
The Trader Joe's rumors around moving to Plumsteadville Village are so far unsubstantiated, but given the local grocery marketplace, it remains a possibility.
