Two Bucks County Roads To Close This Week For Repairs

Two Bucks County roads will be closed this week for repairs, PennDOT has announced.

Portions of Route 532 (Buck Road) and Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured for roadway improvements.

  • On Monday, August 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Route 532 will be closed and detoured between Old Bristol Road and Bristol Road in Northampton Township for the replacement of a deteriorated drainage pipe. Motorists will be detoured over Old Bristol Road and Bridgetown Pike.
  • On Tuesday, August 11 through Monday, August 23, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.,Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Bridgeton Hill Road and Marienstein Road in Tinicum Township for base repair and resurfacing. Motorists will be detoured over Route 611 and Dark Hollow Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction zones. The work schedules are weather dependent, PennDOT said.
