Two Car Crash Brings Down Poles, Wires In Warrington

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible while crews clean up the mess.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Warrington Police responded to a major two vehicle traffic accident in the southbound lanes at Route 611 and Titus Ave. Both drivers appear to have sustained minor injuries, according to preliminary reports.

As a result of the accident, several utility poles were stuck and wires were down on the roadway.

If possible, police are asking motorists to avoid the area due to police and emergency service activity. The partial roadway closure of the southbound lanes is expected to last for several hours awaiting cleaning crews and Verizon.
