Two Children Hurt In Collision Between SUV, Trash Truck In Hilltown

The children were flown via MedEvac helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two children were seriously injured in a crash Thursday afternoon at Route 113 and Minsi Trail in Hilltown Township.

The crash happened at 3:09 p.m. when an SUV and a trash truck collided.

Two injured children were flown via MedEvac helicopter to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries. An adult female driver was transported by Central Bucks EMS to Grand View Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the trash truck was uninjured.

The accident remains under investigation by Hilltown Township Police, the Bucks County Crash Team and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Traffic was diverted from the area for approximately three hours for an on-scene investigation.

Assisting at the scene were the Bedminster Police, Dublin Borough Police, Dublin Fire Company, Silverdale Fire Company, Hilltown Fire Company, Perkasie Fire Company, Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS, Central Bucks EMS, Temple MedFlight, JeffSTAT and Fire Police from several local fire companies.
