Vietnam Veterans honored at Perkasie by Margaret Gale Thornton, NSDAR

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the Margaret Gale Thornton Chapter, NSDAR, as a United States of America Vietnam War Commemorative Partner, completed a Welcome Home Ceremony
for four local Vietnam War Veterans.

The Veterans are all part of the Good Time Motorvators Automobile Club. The ceremony was held at their monthly meeting in Perkasie, PA. The Veterans honored were John Haselbarth, Barry Kuhn, John Logrando, and Steve U'Selis.

Margaret Gale Thornton Regent, Nicole Schuster; 2nd Vice Regent, Joan Logrando; Chaplain,
Margaret Hunt; and Prospective Member, Patricia Tudor attended the ceremony.
They gave out a DAR Certificate, a DOD 50th Anniversary Lapel Pin, and a
Chapter Stars for Veterans Thank You token to each Veteran. The ladies were
joined for the presentations by Sergeant First Class (Ret.) Peter Chong. Sergeant
Chong presented each of the four Veterans with a citation from The Honorable
Brian Fitzpatrick’s office and a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.
