Virginia Woman Accused Of Stealing From Her Bucks County Employer

Central Bucks Regional Police say she fabricated overtime records resulting in fraudulent payments to herself in excess of $132K.

CHALFONT BOROUGH, PA — A Virginia woman has been accused of defrauding her Bucks County employer out of $132,000 in overtime and regular pay.

Justene Lee Gugumuck, 41, of Chester, Va., was arrested Sept. 5 by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department and charged with theft, receiving stolen property, identity theft, criminal use of a communication facility, computer trespass, and unauthorized use of an access device by insurer.

Police began an investigation in March into Gugumuck's activities as an employee of SWAT Pest Control in Chalfont Borough and her handling of payroll responsibilities between 2018 and 2022.

During that time, police allege that Gugumuck fabricated overtime records resulting in fraudulent payments to herself in excess of $132,000 in overtime and regular pay.

Gugumuck was arraigned on the charges with bail set at $100,000 unsecured with conditions.
