This is the sixth year Doylestown has turned teal to raise awareness for ovarian cancer, said organizer Joan Doyle. This year’s sponsor is the Rotary Club of Doylestown.
The goal is the raise awareness about symptoms of the disease so it can be detected earlier, which drastically increases the survival rate. During September, Doylestown merchants will have posters in the windows and will also be distributing symptoms cards for woman.
