LAHASKA, PA — The community will be stepping out in pink on Saturday and showing its support for breast cancer patients during a one-mile fundraising walk through Peddler’s Village.

Presented by Lace Silhouettes Lingerie (LSL), the event will raise funds for Main St. Missions (formerly Pine2Pink), with proceeds providing direct support to breast cancer patients in Bucks County.

The one-mile walk has been a tradition for LSL for more than 30 years. The company’s founder and president, Karen Thompson, and her team are dedicated to supporting the local community through various philanthropic events each year.

“The Walk Pink Event is one of the first fundraisers I put together for the company. Breast cancer has touched many families within our community, making it especially important to myself and my team during breast cancer
awareness month to raise funding for the cause,” Thompson noted.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at Lace Silhouettes Lingerie in Peddler’s Village. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative “pinked out” outfits and join the fun. Participants will enjoy complimentary refreshments and light bites, plus plenty of
photo opportunities to capture the morning’s energy and spirit.

The event will also feature raffle baskets generously donated by the shops of Peddler’s Village.

Following the walk, Thompson said attendees are invited back to Lace Silhouettes Lingerie for a special shopping event, where a portion of sales will be donated to Main St.

Main St. Missions is a family-run non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and empower people and businesses to support the needs of local cancer patients. The organization
has helped more than 2,000 local breast cancer patients while also funding programs for food assistance, counseling and therapy, out-of-pocket expenses, and many more services.

"By joining the walk and shopping event, participants not only enjoy a festive morning in Peddler’s Village, they also make a meaningful impact for local breast cancer patients, ensuring that support stays within the community," said Thompson.
