Warrington Fire Co. No. 1 Celebrates Centennial With Open House

The event will feature food trucks, tours of the fire station, corn hole, music, a moon bounce, face painting and lots more.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Warrington Township Fire Company No. 1 will celebrate 100 years of serving the community on Saturday, May 4 during a public open house at its fire station on Freedoms Way.

"We hope that you, our awesome Warrington community, will join us as we celebrate 100 years of volunteer service," the fire company wrote on Facebook.

The open house will feature food trucks (Rooster and the Chick, KC Funnel Cakes, Kona Ice of Doylestown, TUCKEDito and Warrington Lions), a DJ and music, a moon bounce, corn hole, and face painting.

The event will also include a building dedication delayed by the pandemic, tours of the fire station, and an opportunity for the community to see new Engine and Tower 29.

The open house takes place on Saturday, May 4 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Station 29, 2310 Freedoms Way. The event takes place rain or shine.
