Warrington Lowe's Evacuated For Bomb Threat

Breaking: The Lowe's in Warrington has reopened after a bomb threat, police said.

A bomb threat that evacuated the Lowe's store in Warrington Monday morning is under investigation by police. According to Warrington police, employees found notes in a men's bathroom stall early Monday that said a bomb would go off somewhere in the store.

The employees notified police and the store was immediately evacuated, authorities said.

Canines from the Middletown Township Police Department were called in and spent "many hours" checking the store, which was deemed safe around 9:45 a.m. after no bombs were located, police said.

Meanwhile Warrington Police praised the canines and thanked Middletown Township police for their assistance.

"The canines did a great job clearing such a large store. They were given many breaks throughout the morning," information from police said.
