Warrington Man Charged With Possessing, Disseminating Child Porn
Warrington Police and the Bucks County Detectives began an investigation after receiving six cybertips from X Corp.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 27-year-old Warrington Township man has been charged with possession of child pornography and disseminating it online.
Derrick Carthon, of Warrington Township, was taken into custody by Warrington Township Police on July 23 after an investigation by Warrington Police and the Bucks County Detectives traced online child sexual abusive material back to his IP address.

into the online sharing of child pornography after receiving a cybertip from X Corp (formerly Twitter) in January 2024.

In total, investigators said they received six cybertips for the online sharing of child porn from X Corp accounts registered with the same IP address in Warrington.
On July 23, a search warrant was executed at the address and multiple electronic devices were seized. The devices were analyzed and found to contain additional child sexual abusive material.

Carthon was arrested, interviewed, processed, and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman, who remanded him to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in default of $250,000/10 percent bail.
The Warrington Township Police Department and Bucks County Detectives were assisted in their investigation by Homeland Security Investigations and the Falls Township Police Department.
