Warrington Man Charged With Retail Theft At The Plumsteadville Wawa
According to the Plumstead Police, while using the self-checkout the man would scan one item and steal the rest.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA —A 40 year old Warrington man has been charged with retail theft after he was caught stealing merchandise from the Plumsteadville Wawa.
While using the self-checkout the man would scan one item and steal the rest, said Plumstead Township police.
While reviewing video surveillance officers said they observed the man wearing a T-shirt with the name of a local business. A further investigation revealed that the man is an employee of that business and was identified as a Warrington resident.

He was charged with a misdemeanor of the second degree given that this was his second offense, police said. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 8 before Judge Gambardella in Ottsville.
