Warrington Officers Escort Bucks Veterans To Nation's Capital

Bucks County Tour of Honor included stops at Arlington National Cemetery's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the numerous war memorials.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Four Warrington Township police officers participated in the Bucks County Tour of Honor on April 25.

The Tour of Honor transports U.S. Military veterans from Bucks County - free of charge - to Washington, D.C., to visit the war memorials, buildings and other places that promote and represent the ideals of the United States of America.

Helping to escort the veterans during the "Tour of Honor" were Warrington officers Corporal Neipp, Corporal Moldavskiy, Officer Hackman and Officer Kozuch.

The Bucks County Tour of Honor included stops at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Changing of the Guard and Wreath Laying Ceremony, Air Force Memorial, Korean War Memorial and the World War II Memorial.

The trip to Washington, D.C., was followed by a “Welcome Home” celebration, dinner and entertainment hosted by Parx Casino.
