WASHINGTON, D.C. — Officers from the Warrington Township Police Department traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend National Police Week and to remember their former colleague, Stephen C. Plum Jr. whose name has been newly added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

Plum suffered a fatal heart attack on May 14, 2022 after responding to a mutual aid request involving a barricaded subject in Warminster Township during his previous shift.

While in the nation's capital, the Warrington officers attended The Annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service and a Candlelight Vigil, which honors the officers who recently made the ultimate sacrifice. Several officers within the department's Honor Guard took part in a detail called, "Stand Watch for The Fallen."
