Warrington Police Charge 2 With Possession Of Marijuana

Officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered.

WARRINGTON, PA — Warrington Township Police charged two with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a January 11 traffic stop on Oxford Drive.

Just before 9 a.m., police stopped a 2003 Acura for numerous traffic violations including driving with a suspended registration.

The driver, a woman from Levittown, told police that her driver’s license was suspended. Officers also detected a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle.

The passenger, a man from Hatboro, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.

Both were placed under arrest, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and transported to the station where they were processed and then released. The passenger was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
