Warwick Township Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

Warrington Township Police made the arrest following an investigation into the online sharing of child pornography in Bucks County.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warwick Township man has been arrested and charged with possession and dissemination of child pornography.

Following an investigation that began in October into the online sharing of child pornography in Bucks County, Warrington Township Police arrested Stephen Louis Sottolano, 56, on March 10 at his home in Jamison.

Through the investigation, law enforcement developed Sottolano as a suspect in the case and on March 10 a search warrant was executed at his residence and several electronics were seized for later analysis.

An arrest warrant for possession of child pornography, dissemination of child pornography, and
criminal use of a communication facility was also served on Sottolano who was taken into custody, according to police.

Sottolano was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman and sent to Bucks County Prison in default of $250,000 cash bail.

The Warrington Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Warwick Township Police Department, the Lower Makefield Police Department, Bensalem Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations.
