Washington Crossing Park Hosting Independence Day Celebration
A reading of the Declaration of Independence will begin at noon on July 4 at Washington Crossing Historic Park.

Celebrate Independence Day at one of the nation’s most historic spots.
Washington Crossing Historic Park, where George Washington crossed the Delaware River on Christmas in 1776, is hosting an Independence Day celebration on July 4.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature living historians, craft demonstrations, historic building tours and a military encampment.

The highlight of the event will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon.
Admission is $8 for adults (age 12 and over), $4 for children (ages 5-11) and free for those under 5.

All proceeds support educational and historical programming in the park. Parking is free. The celebration will be held rain or shine.
Washington Crossing Historic Park is located at of Routes 32 and 532 in Upper Makefield Township.
