WATCH: FOX29 Visits The Salt Cave

NEWTOWN, PA — FOX29's Jenn Frederick was in Newtown on Wednesday, exploring The Salt Cave. The business, which also has a Doylestown location, opened this fall on State Street in Newtown. The segment aired on Good Day Philadelphia, but you can watch it below.

The business owners gave Frederick an up-close look of the cave, which is filled with thousands of pounds of pink Himalayan salt.

"It's like being at the beach for the day, after only 45 minutes," a customer tells Frederick during an on-air interview.

The therapeutic cave offers relief for numerous conditions, including asthma, allergies, depression, common colds, cystic fibrosis, acne, arthritis, and more, according to its website. It is known as Halotherapy.
