Water Department Work To Impact Several Doylestown Borough Streets
Work is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday, resulting in temporary road closures in the downtown area.
DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Doylestown Borough Water Department has scheduled system maintenance work that will affect traffic patterns near the intersection of N. Clinton Street and Wood Street.
The work is set to take place on Tuesday, March 17, and Thursday, March 19. Crews will be on site performing necessary updates between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. 0n both days.
Motorsts who frequent the area should plan for temporary road closures throughout the duration of the project.

According to the department, N. Clinton Street will be closed to traffic from Wood Street to W. State Street. Additionally, Wood Street will be closed from N. Hamilton Street to N. Clinton Street.
Despite the road closures, the borough has confirmed that access to certain parking facilities will be maintained throughout the project.

Access to the public parking lot located at the corner of W. Court Street and N. Clinton Street will remain open for public use. In addition, the parking lot serving the Doylestown Periodontics and Dental Implants office will remain accessible to patients and staff during the scheduled work hours.
The maintenance project is part of ongoing efforts by the Doylestown Borough Water Department to ensure the reliability and safety of the municipal water infrastructure.
Local officials advise motorists to exercise caution when traveling near the construction zone and to follow all posted detour signs. Drivers should allow for extra travel time if they are driving through the affected area of the borough.
The work is slated to conclude by 3 p.m. each day, at which point the streets are expected to reopen to normal traffic flow. There are no additional closures scheduled beyond the two days identified by the water department.
