Wawa Withdraws Application For New Rt. 313 Location, Report Says

Wawa sent a letter to Plumstead Township on Monday saying it was withdrawing its plans, according to reports.

Wawa has reportedly withdrawn its plans to construct a gas station and convenience store at the intersection of Ferry Road and Rt. 313.

According to a report by the Intelligencer, the applicant sent a letter to Plumstead Township on Monday saying they were withdrawing the application. The newspaper says the withdrawal came after a private meeting between some township officials and the applicant.

Wawa was seeking to build the gas station and store on a 3.75-acre, commercially-zoned lot but the application required some zoning relief.
