Weapons Charges For Man Who Tried To Buy Gun At Chalfont Shop

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA —A Philadelphia man faces charges after police were informed that he attempted to illegally purchase a weapon at a Chalfont gun shop.

Quenton Christian, 26, of Philadelphia, was arrested at 10 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a weapons violation, the Central Bucks Regional Police Department said.

Police said that Christian attempted to purchase a firearm in September at Bunker Gun Shop II on 143 E. Butler Ave. in Chalfont, and falsified the documents that he submitted.

Christian was charged with one count of making a materially false written statement, one count of possession of a firearm that was prohibited and one count of unsworn falsification to authorities.

Christian was arraigned with bail set at $25,000 unsecure, with conditions.
