There's nothing better than enjoying a cold treat on a nice hot summer day. Today might not be that hot — it may get up to 50 degrees in Bucks County — but it's still a nice spring day to take advantage of free dessert, courtesy of Dairy Queen and Rita's.

Both summer favorites are handing out free treats to celebrate the start of spring. Rita's will give away a free small Italian ice to all customers. The giveaway is available from 12-9 p.m.
Doylestown's Rita's is located at 4403 W Swamp Rd. There's also a location in Furlong, at 790 Edison Furlong Rd. Click here to find another Rita's location.

Dairy Queen is handing out small vanilla cones, and they ask you make a donation to Children's Miracle Network. Last year's free cone day raised over $200,000 for the charity.
